January 1st, New Years Day 2016 and I was glad that I stayed off the booze the night before seeing in the New Year. There would have been no way I could have got up at 6am with a hangover. Was a cold and frosty morning on the East Coast and I decided to head out towards Winterton on Sea. After the partial sunrise I was treated to some lovely soft light raking across the dunes. I just love the rugged wilderness of this part of the world. Plus if you're down there early enough, not another person in sight.
This image was shot on a Nikon D800 using a Nikon 24mm f3.5D ED PC-E Tilt Shift Lens which allowed me to obtain front to back sharpeness. 1/4 sec exposure at f/11, ISO 100
